It is my great pleasure to invite you to participate in the 6th YABİTED Fats and Oils Congress, organized by the Turkish Fats and Oils Association (YABİTED), to be held in the beautiful and historic city of İstanbul — one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations, renowned for its unique cultural heritage and numerous historical sites.

This international congress will offer participants from all over the world an important opportunity to discuss every aspect of fats and oils, attend a high-quality scientific programme, and network with professionals from academia, industry, and public institutions.

Fats and oils are among the most essential nutrients for human health. The main theme of the 6th YABİTED Fats and Oils Congress is: “Towards a Safer Fats & Oils Future.”

The congress will feature special sessions on topics such as olive oil, oilseeds, processing, oxidation, refining, and more — providing a platform to explore the latest scientific and technological advancements in the field.

The Scientific Committee is preparing a diverse and inspiring lecture programme that will cover all aspects of fats and oils. In addition, a social programme will offer our guests unforgettable experiences, reflecting the rich culture of Türkiye and the vibrant spirit of İstanbul.
